Chart of the Day from F.C.A.

One way to assess if an economic policy was a success is to look at economic growth. The below Chart of the Day from Florin Citu Advisory shows average economic growth for the EU-27 countries over the period 2009-2012 (obviously 2012 is an estimate). This is the period over which EU member countries have tried both individually and together to limit the economic crisis effects. Some have chosen the right policies some have not as you can see from the graph. Romania, unfortunately is in the middle of those that have not.
